Here is the next bit of the story i was telling you about. I realized that I forgot to mention who Abigail was. She is kind of based on Sarah. Well, enjoy!
I leaned over and whispered to Dee, “Man, there sure are a lot of guys here.”
She whispered back, “Yeah, we’re outnumbered.” Though she whispered everyone heard her. Dee cannot whisper quietly.
“Is that a bad thing,” asked ‘Hotshot’ who stopped leaning on the door way. At the same time Goldilocks and Sideburns both cocked an eyebrow.
I chuckled “Nah, I think I’d rather be in a room full of guys than a room full of girls.”
At this Elfy said ‘hmmm’ and somehow Sideburns raised his eyebrow higher. Maybe I should just call him eyebrows.
Dee practically shouted, “Not like that!”
“No, I meant that most girls are prissy, idiots while guys are just plain idiots. So I’d rather hang out with guys than girls.”
Sideburns/Eyebrows relaxed his eyebrow again. “Alright, then, you’re a prissy idiot too.”
I laughed, “Oh, no, honey. I ain’t no priss.”
Swirly raised both his eyebrows, “Honey?”
“I call everyone honey or hun at some point. Just get over it and move on.”
Goldilocks made himself look confused. “If you’re not a priss, then what are you?”
Dee chimed in before I could answer, “Insane, she’s insane.” She then gave me look like she had won. I thought, HA, hun you’re far from winning.
Then I said, “Exactly! Insane is a perfect way to put it.”
Shayla looked like she had had it. “You two knock it off already. Now go sit and be quiet.”
Dee and I both let out exasperated sighs and said, at the same time, “Fiiiiiiiiiiine” Then went and sat in the corner together. I started thinking about the people in the room and finalizing their nicknames. As you probably already guessed the guy with the dark gold hair was Goldilocks. The boy in the chair with the mean look on his face was Elfy. The guy with short hair that was standing in the doorway was Hotshot. The boy with the black hair that was sitting in the other chair with the nervous look was Skitz. The kid with the bleached hair was Bleach, mainly because I couldn’t come up with something better. And the boy on the couch next too Esther, with the sideburns that stood out was, well Sideburns . . . or Eyebrows. I still couldn’t decide that one, so I mentioned it to Dee.
“What are the other nicknames” she wondered. So, I relayed, while whispering, my thoughts to her. “Hmmmm,” She whispered back, quieter than normal, “I think I like Sideburns better.”
“That’s what I thought, but I still kinda liked the other one.”
Shayla looked over at us, as did the rest of the guys in the room. “What are you too whispering about over there?” Hotshot asked.
“Nicknames,” I said.
“For who?”
“You people.”
“Like what?” Sideburns questioned.
Before I could answer I heard a car outside. It sounded really familiar. Then it hit me. “TERISSA’S HERE!!!” I shouted. I started running towards the door. On my way out I said, “Dee can tell you the nicknames!!” I flew off of the steps and towards Terissa’s old beat up Mercedes and almost ran into the side of it.
To be continued . . .
